![]() However, he can be stunned with the flare, for long enough to get these bigger explosives on him, or buy your friend enough time to get some distance from him. These flares do not damage fellow players if they are in its explosion radius, only scratch Bigfoot, and stun him for less time than the explosives. Jerry Cans and Propane Tanks will stun Bigfoot for longer than a flare would, and puts players in an fatal position if they're caught in it, as they will be critically injured and stunned for a long period of time.įlares, however, are a different story. If shot, or damaged in any way (meaning if Bigfoot hits them too) they will detonate and damage anything within an approximate 4-6 foot radius around it. These explosives, if you haven't found out already, are EXPLOSIVE. These would be the various Jerry Cans, flares for your flare gun, and Propane Tanks you find scattered around the map. These resources will be your best friends at both: deterring Bigfoot from coming, and hurting the hell outta him. You have to get creative and use other various resources around you to help you take Bigfoot down. Now, establishing that your gear is scarce, it's safe to say that: a hunter's tools and gear are his best weapons, but so is his ingenuity. Giving me time to plot my escape, or prepare my defenses. This works particularly well for choke-points (places that have trails leading up, and cliff faces on either sides, primarily found around watch-towers ) To know that he is coming, from a distance away. That way, I can adapt my strategy knowing that he is there now. Typically, my strategy, is if I am ever in a town, choke-point, or even just in a cabin, I will leave a camera outside - or in an area with large amounts of coverage - and wait for it to ping while I loot. Due to this, you need to be careful with how you plant them. The only amount that you'll really receive is in the beginning, anywhere else is just a roll of the dice. ![]() Can only be used once.Įven with the loot multiplier being up, you should still be very conservative with your gear, more doesn't show up, so what you find is what you use, and that's it.Ī prime example of this, would be cameras. Deploy it by whipping this bad-boy out, chuck it first, then detonate it with "G" or your re-bound key. Not much needs to be explained here, you can probably already assume what this is and does. Depending on your ammo, health and DPS that you're aiming for, is if in close-range you should stick to this gun, or switch over to your shotgun, and lay into Bigfoot. ![]() This is good primarily at mid-range and even a little further than that. This badass, Bigfoot-exterminating, Alabama-sister-♥♥♥♥♥♥', God-land-liberty-protectin', American steel-crafted bugger can punch right through Bigfoot with enough bullets. No need to use its in-game name, you'll know it when you see it. This big birtha can punch a hole in Bigfoot from quite the distance. This is the angrier, and better, older sister of the R700. These can only be found within safes, which I will explain how to access in the next section. This needs to be discovered in cabins, or other points of interest. Use only when you know you got a close shot to Bigfoot, or if the second big, burly bastard (a bear) comes after you, since they take a beating. This gun is very effective, but runs out of ammo fairly quickly in most circumstances, no matter how big your stack may be. This bad boy is an excellent force multiplier, and explaining to Bigfoot why it was a mistake to have chosen to exist. Only one spawns in the camper, more can be found. Again, this gun is not ideal for combat against him, but if you can keep distance because you're using this over your knife, then more power to you. It's good for watch-towers and other locations that give you some distance between you and the hairy death-creature lurking around. The R700, while it's damage is practically mediocre against Bigfoot as well, is sufficient for striking him from a distance, unlike some of the other weapons. Only one spawns in the camper that you start in, more can be found. But, if worse comes to worse, maintaining distance - even if you can only use this gun - is the most advantageous thing you can do. This puny little peashooter is, at best, going to kill you some wildlife for the sake of meating up your traps to lure this big ♥♥♥♥♥ to your kill-zones. I say that these are "Standard issue" due to the fact that they can be found on the map without needing to open a safe.
